Philips VGA CMOS Sensor 30FPS USB 2.00 Compatible Webcam
Customer Review: Just about eveything you could want in a webcam
I purchased the Philips VGA CMOS Sensor 30FPS USB 2.00 Compatible Webcam to test with our video interviewing system [www.interviewondemand.com] and can report that it worked flawlessly on my system (which is Vista Premium Home) and with our online video interviewing service. I also had a chance to test it with MSN messenger and Skpye. It never hiccupped. For the price (we paid about $28 including shipping) it would be very hard to beat. The head and camera lens are easily positioned and it cleverly turns into a quick USB hub (1 port) when you need it,just by pulling the camera body out and setting it aside. My opinion is that it can more than give Logitech a run for its money. Choose this camera and you won't be disappointed.
Customer Review: Very clear, Works The way I needed it to!
The video is clear and the demo games that came with it are really fun! You should try this out. I used this with a friend online to show them my fish tanks and they could see clearly my beautiful fish! I don't really use any of the extras that come with it and only for a video chat with friends but it far surpasses any of the similar priced cams I have tried so far. It may not be the best but you can't complain with such a clear view!
Mapping out the best route for your fleet is very important. It keeps drivers from driving in circles when reaching a particular destination and it provides details on the safest and most fuel efficient routes to getting to that destination. If you do not map out the most efficient route for your fleet, drivers can get lost, their vehicles can consume more gas, their vehicles can take longer route, or they may encounter roads that are too narrow that cannot hold the weight of the truck.
All businesses must generate as much money as possible, so it is important to map out the most efficient route for productivity but also to minimize cost and build revenue. Mapping out routes can prevent unnecessary wear and tear that can be inflicted by bad road conditions. Bad road conditions are responsible for blown tires and various other damages to vehicles. Bad road conditions can also cause a delay in arriving to the designated destination.
Road congestion or road construction are some other ways in which mapping out the most efficient route for your fleet can be effective. Sometimes, road congestion can last for hours on end. So, when that delivery was supposed to arrive at its destination by 2:00 p.m., the driver was still sitting in traffic an hour away at 3:00 p.m. That means as soon as the driver gets out of the congested road conditions, whenever that may be, he or she may possibly make it to his final destination by 5:00. Needless to say, that doesn't make for very happy customers. Fortunately, there are many roadways that can end at the same destination, so by being aware of things such as road construction, an alternate route can be mapped out and cargo can arrive on time.
Mapping out the best route can also be gas friendly. The well-known highways seem to be the safest way to go, but they are not always the most fuel-efficient routes. There may be a shorter route that is safe and can accommodate the vehicle, so it is important to pinpoint that route. This ensures timely arrival at the designated destination and at the same time is minimizing fuel cost and even saves time.
How to map the best route
There are schedules that must be adhered to, so having the route mapped and ready to go for the driver is very important. However, when mapping out the route, it isn't as easy as going to a mapping website on the internet because these sites do not usually offer too many details in regards to road conditions or how efficient the route may be as far as gas. There are, on the other hand, fleet management software programs that can help you map out the possible routes, figure out how much gas the route will used based on the fuel consumption of the vehicle, and let you know if the road is a safe one for the vehicle to take.
Fleet management is very important in regards to making sure vehicles make it to their destinations safely and on-time. Many companies are now utilizing GPS to help them in the mapping of their routes while the driver is on the road. Sometimes unexpected conditions arise and a GPS system can help get them out of the situation quickly. If you combine a GPS system to a fleet management software program, you can ensure the best productivity possible and your robust system also enhances communication between the fleet operator and the driver to ensure everything is carried as smoothly as possible without very many complications.
Mapping out the most efficient route for your fleet can save you time and money. It can also prove to be beneficial when making use of your fleet cards.
